Sian Astley stopped by to have a nose around our showroom. We look at what inspired the design and delve inside the thoughts and processes that created our showroom.

If you know anything about soak.com, you’ll know that we adore our showroom. It’s true – we love it like our very own child. So, when Sian Astley wanted to come and have a visit, we couldn’t wait to welcome her with open arms.
Before we get stuck in, let’s have a quick run through what is in our showroom, shall we?
Overall, we would describe our showroom as an industrial inspired, urban flavoured haven. This is thanks to the chipboard walls (that make up our pods!) the exposed, white painted brick and the black ceiling. We dare you to find another bathroom showroom quite like it… (Hint: you won’t!)
Not only is it inspiring, it’s also interactive and incredibly interesting! We’ve carefully, and cleverly, chucked in radiator and mirror displays alongside actual working shower and tap displays. Yep – you can come and test out some real working products and see what you think before you purchase.
And, of course, our showroom wouldn’t be complete without featuring our very own Hotel Collection so we’ve popped in two of our room sets - Everyday Eclectic and Modern Glamour. We just had to have our Louis Copper Bathtub at the centre stage. I mean, have you seen how beautiful it is?!
As much as we’ve concentrated on creating a design-focused showroom, we’ve also injected a healthy dose of what makes us soak.com. Humour, fun and… you! Take a second glance and you’ll see some cheeky quips and funny one-liners amongst our products and room sets. Some will even encourage you to take a selfie…
We thought you would appreciate separate browsing pods as we know how annoying it can be when you just want to browse in peace. If you do need help however, we’ve got some handy members of The Herd on standby to help you with any queries. There’s also a dedicated Family Area for your little ‘uns to blow off some steam while you shop.
We also have our very own ‘Wall of Fame’ where we feature images that have been sent in by customers and influencers that we work with. We thought it was a great space to show you some of our products in real spaces – hopefully it may inspire you too!
Now onto Sian – Hi Sian!
Sian Astley AKA Moregeous/lady builder/interiors guru came to visit us at the soak.com HQ to take a look round our showroom. We were lucky enough to create a few videos with her too. Who says we don’t spoil you?
Sian got up close and personal with our products and we let her run wild throughout the showroom! Amongst the fun, she explored soft close toilets and got stuck into our furniture (not literally).
Our Industrial inspired room set has taken a trend that will soar through 2018 to 2019 and made it easy to apply to your own bathroom. This soft, yet confident, take on the Industrial trend is ready and raring to go. With a tiled timber floor and grey matte, concrete effect tiles, the black accessories really draw an element of drama.
If you have a more traditional taste, don’t panic – we’ve got something to suit. Our Traditional room set has a roll top bath take centre stage and is a gorgeous, modern equivalent to the old school tubs. Paired with stunning taps and heritage inspired, painted furniture – you’re onto a real winner.
Even if you have a bathroom that’s on the smaller side, it can still be stylish! Check out our minimalistic, yet futuristic, take on a small bathroom. As Sian says, its ‘clean, crisp and has a premium feel’, which we think sums it up perfectly. It’s also kitted out with lots of space saving measures, to make sure you get the best of your space – everyday!
Everyday Eclectic is one of the room sets from our very own Hotel Collection. We loved it so much, we just had to feature it! Full of bright colours and bold patterns, tis inspired by the buzzing streets of Copenhagen. You know what? Watch the video for yourself and you’ll be blown away in an instant…
And there you have it! We’d like to say a special thank you to Sian for popping in for a cuppa and a chat. We think you should pop over to Sian’s blog and send her some love – tell her you’ve come from soak.com!
